Don't believe the type - Shanghai 2010
| The second issue of 'Don't Believe the Type' was in Shanghai on the 18th of May during the world expo 2010. It was a big succes!
‘Don’t Believe the Type’ is a one day typographic festival for (student)designers, initiated by Trapped in Suburbia. The workshops and lectures on the 18th of May in Shanghai focused on the typographic excellence from The Hague. This day was packed with workshops, lectures and visual excitement provided by Underware , Yomar Augusto, Rogier Wieland and Trapped in Suburbia. All these designers attended the renowned Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. Their education has taught them respect for the tradition and also injected enthusiasm to make new, fresh and exciting typography.
‘Don’t Believe the Type - Shanghai’ is part of the program Creative City The Hague 2010-2012.
