Graphic Happiness I
The catalog accompanying Grafisch Geluk (Graphic Happiness), an exhibition celebrating 100 years of graphic design, tells the story of one specific chapter in Dutch design history. It concerns de Jong Printing, one of the Netherlands' most renowned printers. They were the first to collaborate intensively with designers like Wim Crouwel, Dick Bruna, Anthon Beeke, and Otto Treumann, and carried out countless experiments that are now considered standard printing techniques.
The book's cover consists of five separate covers that together form the de Jong Printing logo. This symbolizes the unique collaboration between printer and designer; through this collaboration, their best designs were created.
