In the exhibition 'Rembrandt Laboratory. Rembrandt's technique unravelled', visitors step into the shoes of scientists. Think about the dilemmas of researchers and restorers at the place where Rembrandt created his masterpieces almost 400 years ago: the Rembrandt House museum.
Rembrandt's former studio has been specially transformed into a laboratory-like space, in which the latest insights and secrets of the master are revealed step by step. Rembrandt Laboratory is not an ordinary exhibition where you only look, but one where you actively get to work! Young visitors aged 6 and over receive a clipboard with a research kit upon arrival and, with questions and assignments, go on a journey of discovery through the exhibition themselves.
