The Upside Down Amsterdam is Europe's largest Instagram experience, with 1,500m² of 25 rooms and decors. Trapped in Suburbia took care of the concept development, the experience and the spatial design for both the experience and the restaurant. This assignment was interesting and challenging, especially because of working with a hard-to-reach young target group.
The Upside Down Amsterdam wants to inspire visitors to be creative. In the rooms you can take photos and videos, touch everything and let your creativity run wild. It tells about modern Dutch culture in an accessible way.
